I have soft curly hair that falls out of shape at night and my bangs hang down because it's so soft so I wanted something that would make my hair almost coarse to help it hold its shape. This shampoo definitely does. I am very happy with the definition it gives my hair and that my hair is less soft and stronger. Other comments mentioned that the hair leaving texture didn't work for them but this is exactly what I was looking for and after trying it I wasn't disappointed. I used an all natural liquid shampoo. It's been a few years since "no-poop" didn't work for me but this shampoo makes my hair very nice and silky haha which ironically I don't want anymore. With this bar my hair is still soft but has more structure. I was also surprised at how well it lathers and how clean it leaves my hair even though it only contains natural oils. It might not work for everyone, but it definitely worked for me, so I recommend it!
