I took my dog from the country and brought him to the city where there was no grass around so there was an adjustment at the beginning. This basically resulted in him refusing to go outside and instead urinating on my carpets. I took this and placed it in my bathroom on the exercise mat and eventually got him to direct all his bathroom needs there. It's been really effective and while it's better around town I still use it so there are options when I'm at work. I also really like that it hides urine stains on the pads so people can use my bathroom without getting irritated. You can probably wash it and use it for a while, but I get tired of it and replace it every month or so. It's also one of the cheapest I've seen at Revain.
