I wanted to like this dock

I bought this dock as a need for a hub for my 16 inch Macbook Pro. The first shares I received started failing after about six months. After I finally got support after a couple of weeks, they offered to send me a replacement repaired (tested) by their office. I thought ok I'll try. Now this is out of service. I use the docking station for basic power and control of a monitor over HDMI. Support now requires that I either pay for shipping back to Australia to get a refund. Definitely pretty terrible customer service. For two products that fail within a year and you then want to pay me to ship them back.
