Seems to get better with age
My son was supposed to have a pair of Heelys 4 years ago but never used them because he couldn't figure out how to operate them. Now that he was 10, he wanted to try again. He has better control over his direction, his speed and, yes, his falls. Didn't hit anyone or anything. So he finally enjoys using them.
