Review on ⌚ Gotham Stainless Mechanical Railroad Watch GWC14108S by Ryan Barton

I've been into mechanical pocket watches for a while now and am trying to find a company that offers them at a reasonable price and also makes a quality product. I think I found it at Gotham Watch Company. I've had this watch for a week now and the only time it's lost time other than a second or two was when I forgot to wind it. A second, two, or even a minute or two doesn't bother me as I refuse to live by such a rigid schedule. I like the look of the watch, size and weight. I also have an El Cheapo quartz pocket watch from China, which can't compete with this watch. This watch fits perfectly in the watch pocket of my jeans as well as in the watch pocket of my overalls. One thing I find quite odd is the color of the hands. If I look at them directly, they appear black. If I look at them from a slight angle, they appear cobalt blue. Maybe it's my eyes, I don't know. I am so impressed with the quality of this watch that I ordered a second one this morning. I ordered the GCW18801G for "more elegant" occasions. Now, if only I could master the fine art of hypnotizing someone by waving my hand in front of them and reciting "You're getting sleepy...". again and again.
