I bought this dress in this size so that my daughter and I could wear it to the 'Prom with Mommy' dance. Her dress was her normal size (age 5). After reading the reviews I decided to go up a size (I usually wear a medium or size 6 dress) but went up a size hoping the hemline would be a bit longer. the dress fits so well. It hit just below my ankle, which is what I was looking for. Bags are a plus! The material is very elastic, but does not show through. And it is super soft and comfortable to wear. My daughter's sleeves were a little longer than I expected, I thought they were 3/4 like mine, but her sleeves came down to her wrists and her dress was about mid-calf, but she's also very tall for your age. still super adorable and affordable.
