Fits our Summer Infant 3D Lite perfectly! Haven't traveled via plane yet (doing that in about a week), but it has survived trips in the truck bed without issue. Has padding and plenty of room. You could use it to pack a few extra baby items in addition to the stroller. I would be comfortable checking it with regular luggage or gate checking it. Best feature: WHEELS! It's the only umbrella stroller bag I could find with wheels! We travel frequently and are over luggage plus carrying baby, plus car seat, plus stroller, etc. My poor husband was turning into a pack mule! This makes for one less thing to hang from your shoulders. Also, it has straps to shoulder carry, pull with your hand, or attach to luggage to roll around. If it fails during plane travel, I'll update this review. If I don't update, you know the plane trip went well the bag did it's job!Edited to add: we packed all kiddo's clothes, blankets, and rags, plus other items, with the stroller. This has drastically reduced our overall baggage for travel!
