Review on ANNKE H800 4K PoE Security Camera System with Audio Recording, Ultra HD 8MP IP Cameras, Smart IR, Sony Sensor, and 2TB HDD by Saumeen Shamoon

The cameras themselves are great, much better than consumer products like Logitech and Ring cameras. I used to have Logi Circle cameras but switched to them due to the severe lag and poor image quality of the Logi Circle cloud cameras. Annke's customer support was also excellent. My biggest complaint (and why I'm giving it 4 stars) has to do with the outdated software implementation. The PC app is ok, but the Mac app is outdated in comparison. The biggest problem is the web implementation. Annke and many others who use the HIK Vision software suite are still using the old Netscape plugin, which modern browsers no longer support. There is an IE extension for Chrome that can be used as a workaround, but it doesn't work for Mac. As soon as Annke updates her browser support for live viewing and updates her Mac software, I'll happily change this rating to 5 stars.
