You can make your own lamp by simply inserting it and attaching it to any type of cover (heat resistant) of your choice. I used one of mine for a UV lamp set in a plastic box to sterilize N95 masks for extra use. But now that it's no longer needed I'll think about what kind of new lamp I want to make out of it. The cord is good and the socket fits a standard sized bulb well.
