It's definitely thinner than I expected. I'm 47 years old, have wrinkles and wanted something that would hide them and not accentuate them. I don't need a full coverage foundation and I certainly didn't want to create a mask. Therefore, the use of hydraulic boosters was the ideal solution. I was a little surprised at how thin and runny it is, it actually comes with a dropper. That's why I apply the foundation with a brush. I soak the bush with liquid and apply it. It glides on smoothly, blends well and doesn't penetrate into my wrinkles and fine lines. It provides coverage and blends beautifully with my skin tone. I don't see the shine or shine that they claim, and I'm not 100% sure I even notice the "plumping" look they claim will fill out your lines. I started using a moisturizer with retinol and hyaluronic acid. It does the job I was looking for but hasn't become my favorite product yet.
