Who knew an adapter ring could get so many reviews? Well, there's a reason. These rearing rings do not bind like other rings. Firstly, these rings are made of brass which does not stick. But the saving grace of these breakthroughs is the knurled edge, giving you the option to purchase should you need to unscrew the 77mm filter from the adapter ring. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people try to remove the filters from the adapter rings and then give up and throw it all in their bags. Then you need to buy adapter rings for other filters. Insanity. Just buy Breakthrough adapter rings. This adapter ring will not do that. I use a 58mm to 77mm zoom ring for medium zooms and filters on my long telephoto lenses.
