Sorry but I can't rate this higher than 2 stars for a reason. First I bought salt/pepper shakers which I rated 5 stars. However, these containers do not and do not deserve such a high rating. After examining them upon arrival, the first thing you'll notice is that opening a side panel doesn't leave the panel open in a vertical position, requiring you to hold a finger on the edge of the panel to hold it. the way you sprinkle your spices on your food. Last but not least, pay attention to the load on the plastic hinge when lifting the open lid. do it again and again You will notice that the hinge will turn white at the stress point. This product is designed to handle a limited number of opening and closing movements before the plastic cap on the hinge breaks. This is a planned time bomb, a lifetime guarantee that if the lid is completely ripped off your spice shaker will be no good. (and they think you'll buy another replacement at that point) NOT recommended!
