Review on DUP Wonder Eyelid Tape Mild - Set of 120 Pieces by Kattie Steffens

At my age, the space on my double eyelid has diminished over the years. I've considered an eyelid lift but it's expensive and I don't want to heal for weeks. I started my YouTube research to find out how people created double eyelids or raised eyelids and what they used. This reversible seemed perfect to start with, it came with 60 pairs and was very reasonably priced. It comes with a V notch which is used to push the lid in to get a new crease and also to hold the tape. but I couldn't use the ribbon properly. So I used my tweezers instead and just used the prongs to find where my new crease should be. This double sided tape is very soft and flexible, it tends to lay on the cap on the opposite end of the end held by the tweezers so you will need to be precise with placement OR you will have to lift the end to reattach it to the correct area , which can be difficult. Since my eyelids have more skin due to age, I apply the tape directly to the crease, which means my eyelid only grows a fraction of an inch. But it's important. It makes me look more optimistic and fresh. With your eyes closed, you can see the line where the tape stuck the skin of the eyelids together. It looks a bit strange but is only noticed when the person is standing next to you with their eyes closed. Applying makeup wasn't easy while wearing them, so I'm still figuring it out. I've only used light eyeshadow on the lid, darker eyeshadow on the outer corners, and a cat eyeliner that works so far. To remove them, I use Almay Moisturizing Eye Makeup Remover, which is basically mineral oil. The oil will remove them easily without pulling the eyelids. They last on me all day until I take them off before showering which takes around 12-15 hours. Edited 06/02/2014: I've noticed that if I wear them almost daily, after about 4-5 weeks my new crease stays in place for about a week.
