Telescope companies want $300-$700 for a PDU (Power Distribution Unit) with some software features but this thing works great and costs a lot less, sometimes simplicity is better. the setup for image editing is complicated enough! I use this to get input from a lighter adapter with a DC inverter at home, or with a lighter adapter for a car or my portable backpack when I'm on the road to power all my astronomy gear with prop adapters . Incredibly happy, works well and saved me tons of money so I can save up for expensive filters. Feels stable even when moving utility poles and has a good weight. I'm currently designing a 3D printed mount to better mount to my EQ6R mount and am also working on cable management/strain relief so it's not impossible to pack up and head out into the dark skies.
