This is a great Tea Cozy design. It's heavily padded on the inside and fits my Corning 6 cup teapot quite snugly. My tea stays hot for over an hour with this case! The inside label says the outside is 100% cotton and the inside is 100% polyester. It is made in India and has instructions for washing and machine drying. But he has a problem. If I had a week or two to trade it, I would. There is simply no time to wait for an exchange. As you can see in my photo, there are a few stitches missing on the side seam. I'll have to do my best to sew it up, hopefully the repair is discreet enough for a gift. I'm pretty sure the downside to my tea chest is rare as it is otherwise well made and appears to be designed for everyday use. If there are other models that I like, I will not hesitate to buy them for myself.
