The edges of the seats are a bit rough, they need to be lightly sanded and glued with polyurethane.
I like stools. I'm waiting for 4 more (6 chairs total) so we haven't used them yet. As I said above, the edges of the seat are a bit rough so I'm going to sand them down a bit and cover the entire seat in polyurethane. Also, it would be a HUGE help if the manufacturer specified what color and type of coating is used. I'm a big fan of protective varnishes, so I plan to also seal the top piece of wood on the back of the stools. All in all a very pleasant product. Thank you!
