I am writing this review mainly because there is a lot of misinformation about the warranty. There are many people who complain that their light-colored OtterBox gets very dirty or dull after a few months of use. If you call OtterBox, they'll honor their guarantee and send you a brand new case just because it's dirty. I personally know this and I have spoken to other people who have done this. They have very good customer service. There is one thing worth paying attention to. Some cases are considered special cases, while others are covered by the OtterBox Global Guarantee. All of this is written in small print in the documents that accompany the box. For example, the turquoise case only has a one-year warranty, while most darker colors, like black and dark gray, have a lifetime warranty. This is because dark grays and blacks don't look as messy. Despite this caveat, I personally know that OtterBox warrants these items for over a year. As long as they are still doing business, they will honor the guarantee. If you don't believe me, call her yourself. They replace cases due to loose outer shell, dirt, drop damage, pretty much anything you can think of.
