I used them for two computers. However, I did what everyone else does, including the manufacturers. For M.2 memory chips, I run tape over all components; controllers and memory. I just watched a video explaining the controller heating up and expanding the band to storage. We damage this component. So put tape on the controller and let the heatsink dissipate that heat. Then why are Asus and the others using tapes the way they do?
