Comfortable pad for

This cover plate has really changed the usability and usability of the controller. We used tall button caps for larger hands but they kept coming off. I used Gorrilla super glue, they kept coming off. Then I used Permatex 2-component epoxy, after 3 days they came off again. So will I now buy JB WELD Epoxy as a last resort to see if it lasts?
