I have five other legs that I've tried on my free motion quilting machine. One of these worked well enough, but when creating complex quilt patterns you need to keep the foot stable, hold the fabric securely, and still be able to see what you're doing. This foot is perfect for my car. holds the quilted sandwich in place and allows me to see clearly where I want to sew. Fits any low shank machine. I have a Singer Confidence Quilter that does everything I want in a sewing machine and this foot just added another feature that serves me well.
