May 14, 2013: It fits. Original); This makes the sieve noticeably fresher and allows small pieces of food to fall through. On the original screen, the largest end of the hole is about 5mm wide; With the addition, that distance more than doubles to 11mm (enough to pass a fingertip). I thought the price was too high, but in the 10 days since I ordered it, the price has gone down another five and a half percent. The center ring is different; This allows the screens to become more distracting (if you drop a lid or something on it) - just another chance to break. Why did they have to rebuild them to save 5 cents in plastic? Why can't they just sell the ones that are identical to the original (which is what you expect)? I'm not sending it back but I'm glad I didn't buy ten. I'm a little hesitant to give it two stars instead of one because I know everything will go through big holes. Update 10/19/2013: Upgraded from 2 to 3 stars because it works well.
