Fantastic headphones! I originally bought it to listen to music at work (as a journalist, the editorial office can be very noisy and I sometimes have trouble concentrating). With others in the past, I've had to crank the volume up quite a bit to keep my co-workers' music and voices out of my ear. However, with them, all outside noise will be completely blocked out if you simply use them at their lowest volume. The music sounds as it should, the headphones are really comfortable. I have very small ears and the smallest earbuds fit my ears snugly and I don't feel like I have to adjust them every few minutes. They are so comfortable I sometimes forget I have them. Which brings me to the best part about them: I can talk to them on the phone! I wasn't aware of this when I bought it as I was just looking for something to play music with, but that turned out to be the best feature in the end. There is a lot of interference on the phone in my office and it's actually easier for people to hear me through these headphones, which leaves my hands free to type and I don't have to bend my neck from holding the phone on my shoulder. Cord on my shirt at a high chest level, and even when people are talking around me in the newsroom, people can hear me very well at normal volume. I hear them better than on a landline and even better than straight from my cell phone. I also don't have to worry about ending a call as my phone stays in one place during the call and I can't accidentally hang up when I'm face to face with someone, which I've done many times. Do yourself a favor and buy these. This is a fantastic price for everything you get!
