Review on 🌹 Certified Organic Face Oil Cleanser - Badger Damascus Rose, 2 oz - Natural Facial Cleansing Oil for Face by Amy Moore

Revainrating 5 out of 5

I'm addicted - I'll never use regular cleaning products again!

Recently bought this facial cleansing oil along with Badger Damask Rose Post-Cleansing Facial Oil for moisturizing. I can't express how much I love these products! I've been using both products for about a month. My skin really does feel a lot clearer and more hydrated. I also noticed that I only had 2 small pimples all month - much fewer than before. With spot treatment and no nitpicking on my part, they went away quickly and never got out of control. Simply cover with concealer. I think that's to be expected, since running this routine would start painting impurities on the surface by default. I have struggled with hormonal adult acne for the past several years. I've tried everything to help with this, but I've struggled to find something to keep breakouts at bay all the time. A few months ago I read that an oil facial cleanser can actually help get rid of acne because it cleans the skin much better. As the oil in the cleanser is attracted to sebum, sebum impurities are brought to the surface and removed with cleansing oil and a warm face washcloth. As we taught in science class, like attracts like. I don't know why it took me so long to earn these points! My face feels DEEPLY CLEAN after washing, yet the process is much gentler on your skin. Admittedly, I was skeptical and worried that the oil would break me even more. I tried using coconut oil as a cleanser before purchasing this product, but in the end I noticed my skin got even worse. I did some additional research and read that coconut oil has great skin benefits, but it is more comodogenic than other oils. There are a variety of oils in this oil cleanser that I've read online are the best facial cleansing options. It does not contain coconut oil. If you're worried about acne, don't worry. Here is the procedure I follow: - Apply 2-4 drops of oil to palms and rub oil into palms a little before applying to DRY face and neck. , and chest area. The number of swipes depends on how much makeup I applied and whether I applied mascara that day. It also removes mascara very easily. Leave the oil on your face while the water heats up. Soak the cloth in fairly warm water. I mainly used these microfiber washcloths that I bought from Revain. https://smile.amazon.com/gp/product/B00LWIINUS/ref=oh_aui_search_detailpage?ie=UTF8&th=1- Press the warm washcloth all over your face and hold for a few seconds. I then wipe off the oil, rinse the cloth thoroughly after a few wipes, then use the opposite side of the washcloth to avoid reapplying the dirty part of the cloth if that can be avoided. I sometimes use the same washcloth at night and the next morning with no problems. I never use the same cloth more than twice before changing it. After rinsing, I splash cold water on my face to close my pores. Then pat dry (do not rub). For the face, after cleansing, I added a drop of tea tree oil to a few drops of rose oil and rubbed it into the cleaned areas. I figured if I was vomiting, at least tea tree oil might help. Then I apply a night moisturizer (like Elta MD PM Moisturizer). I just saw that the same Badger brand sells a beauty balm that some people apply at night for extra moisture. I will order this as I sometimes get a bit of eczema on my forehead and tea tree oil can be a bit drying even when applied with facial oil. I applied the same face oil and a drop of tea tree oil in the morning before applying my day cream (Elta MD AM Moisturizer) and/or Elta sunscreen. Elta MD products are great if you have acne prone skin. They use excellent ingredients that do not harm the skin. The smell is very pleasant. This is a light and natural rose fragrance. Nothing synthetic. I don't know where it's been all my life. I'm so glad I started researching and came across these products at Revain! For the record, a month has passed and I still have about 1/4 bottle of cleansing oil and about 50% post-cleansing oil in the original bottles. Hope this helps you with your decision!
