This is a well made, powerful and efficient bug catcher. It didn't light up when I first received it, but I checked and found that the IR lamp had popped out during shipping. Since then it has been light and at work. I've used it mostly indoors with little success but left it outside last night and this morning it was brimming with bugs of all kinds, most dead and a few still alive. Sorry no photo of a bunch of dead bugs but believe me she tortured them. The only real downside is the housekeeping. The manufacturer includes a small brush, but if you don't disassemble the bug light, you'll have to put the brush through the plastic mesh that surrounds the light and turn off the bugs. But I think it's a small price to pay for an effective insect repellent. I also wish it had a longer cord, but an extension cord can be used if needed. Still, it's a good product and I still give it 5 stars.
