I needed to extend my firestick's power cord so I bought this cord to extend it. My FireTVstick tries to turn on but immediately turns off again. He does it over and over again like he doesn't have enough energy to keep going. If I remove this extension, my FireStick works great. This cable may be fine for data transfer, but you may need a larger cable if you need it for power as well.
