Review on πŸ”‘ Logitech Craft Wireless Keyboard with Input Dial & Backlit Keys, Dark Grey & Aluminum - Advanced Creative Tool by Kichiro Norimatsu ᠌

I recommend to buy, the product is of high quality.

cons continue, tk. for some reason, the length of the text in the fields above is limited and everything did not fit: Curve soft settings: - fundamentally there is no way to assign some keys (the same break) - some keys seem to be assigned (for example, F5), but in fact they do not work - it is extremely inconvenient to work with profiles for different software (it would be logical to draw up a table where you can immediately see everything in which program what functions the keys perform - otherwise you need to select a preset from the dropdown list for each individual program) - it is not possible to assign global keys that would work everywhere and take precedence over presets for different software; you will either have to turn off the presets, or change them separately - inconvenient, and, most importantly, buggy software! I assigned a function to a key, it is not executed everywhere and not always, and it is impossible to understand why this happens, or at least track the pattern - as a result, I had to abandon presets and assign functions instead of F-keys, i. E., use the subject like a regular keyboard /// By the length of the pros and cons texts, it may seem that the product is bad. This is not true. You just expect a lot from a product with such a price, which is why I concentrated on the cons; firstly, you need to know that they do exist, and secondly, the most annoying thing is that the product could be almost perfect if the software were more adequate, and quite ideal if the hardware were finished a little (more battery, fast charge controller, wider inter-key gaps, customizable color temperature and duration of the backlight LEDs, a line of additional keys that are not combined with functional ones, an indicator on Numlock, the break key).

Pros
  • Looks great It is pleasant to type - both by sound and tactilely - good switches, quiet, pressing is clearly fixed, the depression on the key is pleasantly felt You can work on three devices, incl. via bluetooth - switch between devices above the ins\del\home\end\pgup\pgdn block The backlight is pleasant, not blue, it is activated when you bring your hands up
Cons
  • Price Low battery capacity - it would be possible to shove a larger one into the keyboard, so with more or less active work it has to be charged two or three times a week Slow charge - could insert a fast charge, because charging with a current <.5A, which the keyboard controller takes, is extremely slow The backlight goes out very quickly when you remove your hands, the delay is not configurable Illumination "cold" The same color of 2022 and Latin characters When you press the corner of a key, it sometimes does not work (it happens very rarely) - a feature of romer-g switches Simultaneously mac and pc layout, which interferes and confuses - two separate models could be released for that kind of money Numlock without an indicator on the key Wide Escape - both convenient and inconvenient - easier to hit, but shifts the F-keys to the right F-keys are not grouped, the rightmost key in the row is NOT F12 An additional row of keys above the ins\del\home\end\pgup\pgdn and num-keys blocks goes without a vertical indent, which is why it is extremely inconvenient to use these blocks, especially num-keys, for example, it is customary that the upper right key of the num-block is minus, and here it is in fact the LOCK button. You also have to look with your eyes for division \ multiplication \ numlock The knob is useless - real fine-tuning is impossible, the software is buggy, in fact I had to adjust it to the volume everywhere so that it interferes less Touching the knob - and it is almost inevitable when you press ESC, because. it is close to it - it causes a pop-up notification with a hint about the current function of the spinner, it does not turn off, it interferes a lot Tilt not adjustable No break key In fact, there are no additional keys - they are combined with the F-keys, which makes their use impractical. A little too compact, which makes the work not very convenient with medium-sized hands - I personally find it extremely inconvenient to do Ctrl-A\S\D Gap between keyboard blocks (main, cursor+ins\del\home\end\pgup\pgdn, numkeys) is too narrow
