These shoes are too tight. I wear medium wide shoes with no problems. Firstly, when I put these shoes on I had a bit of trouble getting my foot all the way in because the opening only has elastic panels to create the extra room needed to get my foot in. quite tight, much tighter than the feel of a typical athletic elastic brace. I walked around the house in shoes for about 2 hours. During this time, the shoe snuggles up everywhere - in the toe area, in the upper foot area and in the heel area. Although they are quite cozy, they made you feel comfortable. I thought maybe the leather would stretch a bit over time and become very comfortable. Later I sat down (still in my shoes). The longer I sat, the more I noticed that my toes and whole feet were starting to tingle and go numb. I tried to move my toes but there was absolutely no room for that! I note: I didn't wear socks with these shoes, only nylon stockings. I don't think I could wear these shoes even with thin cotton socks. I'm sending it back!
