I wanted a belt that hung around my waist. I love this belt! As mentioned, it's solid and strong (not heavy) and definitely not flimsy. It looks and feels like a quality product. Others have mentioned that he is tall. However, after some thought and struggle, I settled on the XL instead of the MI I originally wanted to get. I'm glad I did. I'm 5'6" and 300 pounds. I usually wear a medium size in clothes and an 8-10 in pants. After looking at customer photos, I decided I would shorten the chain between the large conchos and the small ones would.I'm glad I did.Size XL falls nicely.I shortened the chain between the large and small conchos so now when I wear it I have 2 large and small shells dangling at the end.I was a little worried it would slip a lot or make my curves more visible but it doesn't.It's very flattering and easy to wear even if you're chasing a class of 14 preschoolers.It's really worth the price!
