The material is definitely thinner and cheaper than what I replaced. Unfortunately, the handle with which you can pull the clean cutlery basket out of the dishwasher immediately comes loose and the entire clean cutlery drawer falls to the floor. But if anyone is aware of this design flaw (after we both figured it out through experience lol) then it's good enough to use. It does the job. One section doubles in size so there are actually 5 slots instead of 6, and you can open it up to turn it into a basket with a lid only on the largest double slot.
