So disappointed :-( I make english paper seams and for that the templates should allow you to cut out pieces out of paper and fabric Usually the templates are nested inside each other (two of each shape) meaning you have one piece without a seam allowance (which you trace the paper with) and then the nested template is some kind of outer ring (same shape but larger) - this adds a seam allowance and is used to cut the fabric.These pieces will ONLY BE ON THE FABRIC CROPPED - which is the least important of the two - and there's no way to efficiently shrink it from a piece of pattern paper s out them, so they are USELESS. You can't cut through the fabric and "guess" the piece of paper because that's where the precision comes from.
