My wife bought this item for our guest room. On the internet it looks like a decent visual detail for the price, but during assembly all the wooden dowels just snapped and broke. They were so flimsy and cheap and they didn't bother to provide any extras. We built a lot of furniture from scratch so I wouldn't say we didn't have any experience. I had to nail one of the shelves back up and now the door doesn't fit because it's slightly off center. I would return it but we live in a very rural area and the nearest UPS is a few hours away. I would honestly keep looking for something else. Even at $60-70 this product is way overpriced for the build quality you get.
