I really like this table. The quality is ok, I like the sockets, they were easy to assemble. It just isn't sustainable. I have it in a corner so I don't have to worry, but I wouldn't trust it as a separate object outside of that corner. Before I placed him in the corner indicated and he was sitting squarely in the center of the floor post, my 40 pound old dog collided with him and he fell. So for the corners of course. Anywhere else be prepared for it to fall. I would definitely say no, if you have kids I wouldn't let my niece anywhere near this thing.
