4 typical shower head modes with multiple patterns. My favorite full beam setting and is often the one that gets set and left. The small knob on the back is easy to turn when new. What worries me is that as the head ages, it becomes increasingly difficult to work. I hope it stays that way. These types of heads always require more flow and pressure than a traditional shower can provide. I really think this one from Hans Grohe is on the better end of that scale. All templates provided usable results that do their job well. For best results, in addition to good flow and pressure, I would recommend a shower filter or a whole house water filter. If you spend more time in the shower, it's better for you to have less chlorine, VOCs, and chemicals in the water. I would say the shower head is of very good quality and that is typical Hans Grohe. This one is lighter than average but easy to install and suits most plumbing styles. 4 solid stars for good performance.
