The shelf is ok at best, but you can injure yourself on sharp edges.

Short review: Nice shelf, some durability issues. It also has extremely sharp edges on the shelves that will cut you if you're not careful (as happened to me)! Long review: Okay, this thing is pretty damn easy to put down. Grab a Phillips screwdriver and let's get started. Just be very careful with the edges of the perforated tops of the shelves. The edges of the shelf I received were EXTREMELY sharp. During assembly, the shelf slipped out of my hands and cut off a fair bit of skin from my middle finger. To fix this in the future and to make sure I don't cut myself cleaning I put clear tape on these edges and folded them over so they aren't as sharp. It's clear enough that you can't see it unless you're looking for it. Once this is complete the wall mount will be a bit odd as the horizontal shelves and vertical support posts need to form a 90 degree angle for assembly. even. It's not that simple, even if the support screws are tightened to the limit, the entire rack will move. To achieve that 90 degree angle I took a speed square to help, attached a magnetic spirit level to the top and marked the holes. Once the holes are marked, wall mounting is pretty easy. You may need a second pair of hands to mark the drill holes if you are holding the shelf against a wall and trying to maintain a level and 90 degree angle. After it was installed I started organizing things on the shelves. When I assembled it I was worried it wouldn't be as durable and after putting a few items in it I still feel the same way. In no way is it overloaded. The top shelf has a makeup mirror and a glass container with cotton balls. These two items are loose on the shelf. I would be scared of putting things over 10lbs on a rack in the shape of a hole. It's not that it can't support the weight, but the shelves will definitely sag. The shelves themselves are very thin and you can tell when you press on them with your finger.
