Mid Gray with Microfiber and actually very comfortable. I gave it three stars to reflect the stark difference between comfort and quality. For the price I wasn't expecting good quality so I got what I paid for. The chair wobbles after assembly; It feels like the sliding joints will fall apart over time with frequent use. You can feel the metal sliding joints flex and hear them move as you sit in the chair and adjust your body. Mount it where you will be using it as we had to remove the legs to fit through a standard bedroom door. It's also difficult to move, as the sliding joints will fall apart if you grab it in the wrong place. It looks very nice from the front. not like that in the back.
