As a runner, I've struggled to find the right basic headphones for running. These headphones fill that need perfectly. You won't get awards for audiophile quality, but that's okay. They sit freely, which is good! I don't need noise cancellation or ambient noise blocking when walking down the street or sidewalk. It's getting harder and harder to find headphones that don't have a microphone or remote control buttons on the cord. When running, these features mean nothing to me. At worst, they can be confusing and send false signals to the cellphone. These headphones don't have that at all. In general I am very satisfied. They're lightweight, comfortable to wear, and won't block out street noise, yet still stream the sound of podcasts, music, and more with no volume or clarity issues. I would buy them again!
