Review on Purelygreat Citrus Men's Natural Deodorant by Christina Waltemeyer

After reading conflicting reviews on this product I wanted to add my experience. I wanted to use a natural deodorant after seeing Dr. Gundry's Plant Paradox (highly recommended). When I first started using it, I found it very painful to stir every time. But I got used to it and don't think about it anymore - it's just part of my routine. My wife has also converted and uses one of the women's formulas. An added benefit of this product is that I used to have these skin patches under my armpits. After using PurelyGreat Citrus for Men for a few weeks I noticed they were all gone. I have sensitive skin but have never had a reaction from using this product. It seems like a lot of people who have reviewed this product have had reactions and it's a shame because I love this stuff. Use once a day and it lasts all day! I've tried other natural deodorants and they didn't work very well (I had to keep reapplying). The only potential downside I have is the advertised 2-3 month usage per jar. In my experience, one can lasts me about 1.5 months (or about half of the manufacturer's advertised time). That being said, I'm very thankful for this product - it's excellent (and I've tried a few "natural" deodorants). Update: October 2018 My wife and I had to stop using this product because we both developed sensitivities to it. After using it for several months without any problems, we both noticed redness and irritation after using the product. Stopping use made the redness and irritation go away, but it returned once we started using it again. Initially I gave this product 5 stars but unfortunately we kind of got sensitive and now both of us can't use it anymore. After some online research, sodium bicarbonate (the first ingredient in this product) turned out to be the culprit. Others have reported problems with this ingredient in similar natural deodorants. I would like to see a PurelyGreat product without bicarbonate!
