This is good for cleaning lawnmower and cultivator plugs but not so good for car plugs. The latter should run clean if the engine is set up correctly and the mixture is correct. Automotive spark plugs should be replaced if they show signs of fouling and the engine is adjusted correctly (combination and timing), or the engine should be repaired if the spark plugs are fouled due to oil bypassing the rings or valve guides.
