As most pants fit differently, most belts and therefore belts with holes are not compatible as the holes vary in spacing. This ratchet strap solves the problem. The two biggest problems with these types of straps are slippage and rolling, both problems this strap perfectly eliminates: after the strap has been threaded onto the second ring and tension is applied, it stays in place very securely; Since the belt is relatively thick, it does not curl or bend after wearing. As a person who regularly carries things on a belt, I had no problems with this. Questionable branding and Chinese manufacturing aside, this is a good belt overall.
