First it was delivered from a hardware store which should be my first indication something was wrong. Very strong unpleasant plastic smell when opening a package with envelopes. All envelopes reek of the same odor. It is a food grade polyethylene plastic and is not safe for the items you intend to seal inside. I used to have small 8 1/2 x 11 food grade plastic envelopes that could hold a full size 8 1/2 x 11 photo for archival purposes. Storage of food when odor is an indicator
