As far as I can tell there is no way to control the RGB LEDs on the panel, I'm not sure if the panel has separate LEDs for those colors at all. If you have the ability to output RGB colors individually, which I don't think is the case despite all the reviews to the contrary, well if a phone app is required to get the job done then I think this is a serious design Defect. They are most likely just saying these lights are RGB lights because they emit white light which is all frequencies of the RGB spectrum. The panel also has some problems with the brightness settings: the light changes from bright at 100% power to slightly less bright at 1% power, and then until there is no light at all at 0% power. In other words, the light cannot be dimmed. Additionally, the steps between each brightness level are quantized with each click of the slider, so the lighting changes dramatically as you adjust the power during video capture. The same problem applies to changing Kelvin values: temperature changes in sharp steps, so temperature changes occur in distractingly obvious jumps. Also, changing the Kelvin turns some LEDs on and others off, but the light does not maintain a constant intensity with the change. So if you change the Kelvin value, you also have to readjust the power levels. Well, as for the diffusion screen, there's nothing holding it back, when it slides over the side of the device, so, if you briefly rotate the flashlight 90 degrees, the filter will fall out. Another problem is that the shadow cast by the light looks sawtooth-like, with each LED's shadow being cast a short distance from the next LED, and this problem was visible even with the diffusion filter intact. With all these issues, I don't want to argue that this light is useless, because when you just throw a light on an object you don't choose shadows, you just want to choose warm or cool light. Light and then keep it constant throughout the shot, then those lights aren't that bad. The workmanship of the case was ok, a mix of metal and plastic in the ratio that you would expect for the price.
