I am looking for a bag that is not a large 15-16+ inch tote but will fit a 1 inch binder, some binders, a tablet and my water bottle. The sizes listed for this bag seem to work. I even asked a question if the binding and water bottles would fit. Several people said yes. Either they didn't really try to put those items in or the pockets vary in size. I wish I could answer my own question, but Revain won't let me. The truth is NO. NO, this bag will not fit in a binder and NO, this bag will not fit a regular sized water bottle (my water bottle is 16 years old). or 18 oz.) Of course, if I sit down and use two hands and really pull and pull, I can pop my water bottle in, but I don't feel like doing it every time I need a drink. a bit too small to slip a binder in without much effort. If you just want to carry a smaller item with it I would try a bag but don't expect it to be easy/functional to use for a refillable water bottle or binder/folder/ Paper.
