I work in an office where I need to access my ID to go through almost every door and I use the subway system , which is also required for me to access my tariff card. I was very tired of the cheap retractable cords that broke after a month of use, so I decided to buy something big and durable. The gear holder fits the bill. While this product is larger than a regular ID badge strap, it makes up for it with the gentle tug and tug of the cord, strong cord, and the way it easily attaches to my belt or pocket. This product looks very well built and easily handles a dozen or more hits and hits each day. I expect this to last for a long, long time.
