This is the same as Dr. Pen. There is a scanner code on the box that you can scan and check for authenticity. With all cartridges, it's about half the price if you buy directly from Dr. Pen. I use it for my deep acne scars. I've used it twice and I can already see a big difference! I would recommend buying an anesthetic cream. Without an out it hurts a lot. I would also recommend using a good face oil (not vitamin C) to make it easier to put on. Check out some YouTube videos with doctors and beauticians, the videos are very informative. I'm very glad I bought this!
