Good, not great! suitable for TV ceiling and wall mount

Overall good mount! Very useful if you are trying to place it above the fireplace πŸ”₯! If you try to center it over the chimney by buying a 24" stud mount, even if you have 16" studs to make this much easier you will need an extra 8" of clearance to center the Strive to move to where it is most centered. Depending on your screw holes on the back of the TV, you might be able to move it left or right on the silver bar, but I wouldn't move it more than an inch or two as it would affect the balance. It's hard to find one at this price point that moves fully, sliding left and right to center the subject. Here are some measurements I wanted to know but couldn't find. After installation, you can only move 8 inches horizontally. The entire wall panel measures 13.5 inches high and 26 inches wide (left to right). If you slide every 8 inches to one side, you have a wall plate or wall mount hole that is 12 inches wide and 8.75 inches high. The small hole is then 5" wide and 8.75" high (still big enough to exit at the smaller hole. This is easily enough for a two piece or maybe even a three piece fitted drawer. Also the center panel where the levers connect to the wall is 7" wide and slides horizontally when using this option. There is a tiny 0.75" wide ledge that sits at the dead center of the mount that is flush with the wall. This prevents most cables from trailing behind the Sliding rails run panel to the other side.If it was a very small cable like speaker wire it would probably fit,HDMI would be very tight. The flex of the main wall mount comes out a lot farther than the bezel any electrical or low voltage sobs across the panel puts at all no problem. If you're really accurate you can point where you are, if you're really pointy you can point your outlet if you r plug is more than 1 inch from the wall and it still fits. If you're right about that, you could probably get away with the connector sticking out an inch and a half, but make sure a mate is there to help you because it needs to be accurate. There is enough space inside the wall bracket for the installation of electronic devices. The edge of the wall mount is at least 0.75" from the wall after installation. This mount weighs just under 30 pounds without your TV, so it must be secured with rivets. I highly recommend using a ratchet wrench to tighten the mounting screws tighten the bolt as instructed in the instructions The reason I give it 3 stars is that once the TV is in place and you start moving the full swing arms they are quite stiff and you have to be careful not to press too hard on the tv to move them to get the leverage. The instructions suggest taking some lube with you but who wants to put lube over the chimney.I wish there was a way to tighten the screws to loosen to make it move a little easier. Also I wasn't able to unscrew the bottom bracket to connect the tv mount to the bottom silver rod that connects the TV to the articulated arm or bracket. I'm going to Home Depot tomorrow to find a longer screw and even the bracket that came with it is too small and should be recycled. The main culprit is the washer needed to attach the 2019 Samsung Q80R to the bracket, causing the screw to over-seize. The only other screw of the same size was too short. Do you really need wider medium length screws.

Pros
  • for TV ceiling and wall mount
Cons
  • not trendy
