This cooling pad is great. It's quiet, looks good and cools relatively well. My laptop was so overheated I could feel the heat through the bottom of my desk. Now, not only do I feel no heat coming through my desk, I also feel almost no heat coming from my laptop. It produces minimal sound and actually cuts my computer sound in half. The only thing about it is that it can take up a lot of space when it needs to be portable. It's the size of my laptop. I don't mind because I only use it at home, but if you need to take it somewhere, it can take up a lot of space. It does have a neat little cord compartment, though, so it won't get in the way if you take it everywhere. I hope this helped.
