That's why I gave them 3 stars because the waist is made not to take the curves into account although it stretches well so I thought they would do fit. It gaped back a little and stuck right out of my ass, not the smallest, but close to my back. I still love them enough to spend money and wear them around my waist. Much better. But I'll never understand why all board shorts are so straight as if they were made for people with square waists and hips.
