This set is comfortable and looks great. It's definitely on par with anything you can get in the store. Both the hat and gloves are well made and fit my 6 year old well. I would recommend size M for a 6-8 year old kid depending on your kid's head size. I've noticed that some people have encountered inconsistent sizing, but I can only judge the hat and gloves I received for my sizing opinion. The hat seems warmer than the gloves. I wouldn't recommend gloves for playing in the snow. They seem more for a cold day than a frosty day. In general, the set is of high quality, beautiful and available at an affordable price. I haven't found any flaws in the set to date and can only recommend it.
