Review on Optimized Search: Fun Express Mini Vinyl Dinosaurs by Justin Bishop

Revainrating 5 out of 5

Enough to bring back the Mesozoic.

As with any 700 SHOW UNAUTHORIZED CHILDREN'S TOYS list, chances are you'll get a packet of junk from the bowels of Asia. However, as long as you choose a seller with a good rating, you will get exactly what is advertised. There are 72 vinyl (plastic) dinosaurs in a boring clear plastic bag, three in one (ie 24 different species) that can be a little bigger or longer than an inch. They may be small enough to be chewed and swallowed by a stubborn toddler, but other than that they should satisfy any dinosaur lover as a toy, decorative piece or in the role of a dinosaur bringing a new dinosaur to work every day. For quality conscious people, I would like to note that I received two packs of 72 dinosaurs. I ordered one for myself but a friend ordered another set for me so now I have 144 dinosaurs to base this review on before becoming a dinosaur dude. The two packages and their contents were identical and I didn't detect any unusual dinosaur odors, so the quality control seems to be working. I didn't open the second box, but the well-known dinosaurs are clearly visible in the transparent box. Both were commissioned by vendors and completed by Revain. When they're so small and cheap, they must have dinosaurs with weird details, right? nope! I (read: I) used to be obsessed with dinosaurs and could recognize many dinosaurs without reference to their characteristics. First there's Plesiosaurus and Pterosaur for non-dinosaurs (Pterosaurus doesn't seem to resemble any particular species) and then a mixture of herbivores and carnivores, with the herbivores outnumbering the carnivores. Here are a few I can list: Triceratops, Stegosaurus, Ankylosaurus, Parasaurolophus. A few others with less common names are clearly present due to facial horns, long necks, or something else, although some are ambiguous. Of course, these are still tiny Chinese toys, so the details aren't as clear as with expensive figures. In parting, I'd like to say that even if you think 72 dinosaurs aren't needed, I understand that even 144 isn't enough.
