The proof is in the photos I took.

Having read other reviews I am a little concerned that they are being rigged to sell their horrible product or that I have been sent a counterfeit version of these boots and am losing my money was cheated. For this reason; I live in Alaska, known for snow, cold weather and my area for wet, cold weather. It is therefore very important and necessary that our children go to school in appropriate winter clothing. I bought this product as a Christmas present for my daughter. It was open on December 25, 2014 but was only used for the first time on January 1 after our holiday. So my daughter had been using the boot for about a week when the problems started. First issue, the boot as advertised in the very last photo they posted has a tag sewn into the boot claiming to be waterproof. This is a complete and utter invention. These boots are anything but waterproof, and even the tiniest bit of snow will get wet and cold. Thus, with these boots it is impossible to keep your children's feet dry and dry. The second problem: after getting wet, the untreated, non-waterproof leather began to rattle and pucker. I was sure I took photos to back up my claims, to show I am a genuine buyer. Problem 3: You might think the boot would hold after losing $54.95. Not this dazzling product! After the first week, the purple thread along the seams and sole of the boot began to unravel. You can also see the purple flower sticker on the sole of the boot peeling off as if it were a sticker. The fourth problem: Let's get to the bottom of things. After a week, the bottom of the sole started peeling faster than expected. You would think that if you spend $54.95 you would get what you paid for. I've had cheaper boots that lasted much longer and were actually waterproof. Needless to say my daughter stopped wearing these boots after a week as I needed to buy something that would keep her feet dry and warm and stand up to walking in the snow. I hope this review helps and that you as a parent don't bother and waste your money.
